The Afro model by Ameko Barefoot in Navy is a timeless children’s barefoot sneaker designed for everyday movement. The deep navy shade is versatile, easy to combine and suitable for both school and weekend wear.

The upper combines smooth leather with subtle suede details, creating a soft contrast in texture while maintaining durability. Both the lining and removable insole are made of leather, providing a naturally breathable environment for growing feet.

The cut is suitable for normally wide feet, especially for feet that gently widen from heel to toes. It also fits a normal to slightly narrower ankle and works well for a normal or slightly higher instep.

The heel is gently structured – it holds its shape without feeling rigid. This creates a balanced combination of stability and natural movement.

Two textile hook-and-loop straps allow quick adjustment and easy on-and-off. Practical pull tabs on the tongue and heel make independent dressing easier for children.

The sole may feel slightly firmer at first – which is common for new leather sneakers – but it softens quickly with wear. After a short break-in period, it becomes flexible in all directions and supports natural foot movement.
