A warm Bronze boot that children can fasten themselves

UP Hill Wool is made for fuller children's feet that need both toe width and extra height. The Bronze upper combines leather and textile, and the two straps open wide enough to make busy morning dressing more manageable.

Sheep wool insulates the interior, while a waterproof TEX membrane helps in wet winter weather. The light Lifolit® Barefoot UP sole bends easily and uses a deeper tread than Froddo's older low-profile barefoot soles.

Worth knowing: The metallic Bronze finish benefits from gentle products. Always test care treatment on a hidden area so the surface colour and sheen do not change unexpectedly.

Fit & sizing

The children's UP shape is generous across the front and above the instep, and is less suitable for a very slim foot.

• Best for normally wide to wider feet and a higher instep.
• The UP last adds space above the toes as well as across the forefoot.
• The rounded toe box gives all toes room, including the little toe.
• The construction is zero drop, with the heel and forefoot on the same level.
• Very narrow feet with a low instep may have too much volume inside.
• Two wide hook-and-loop straps let the upper and lower hold be adjusted separately.

Measurements are approximate.

Measure both feet for length and width while the child is standing, then use the longer and wider foot. Add 0.9–1.2 cm of extra length. Check the fit with winter socks and make sure there is still room for the wool and free toe movement.

Upper: water-repellent leather combined with water-repellent textile in Bronze

Lining: warm sheep wool

Insole: flat and insulated with sheep wool, without raised arch support

Outsole: lightweight, highly flexible Lifolit® Barefoot UP with improved grip

Fastening: two wide hook-and-loop straps

Construction: zero drop, rounded toe box and extra room above the toes

Wipe textile areas with a soft damp cloth and clean leather according to its surface finish. Use a silicone-free protector intended for mixed materials and TEX membranes, first testing the Bronze finish. Open both straps and air-dry damp boots at room temperature, away from radiators and machines.
