Grey/Black winter boots for high-volume children's feet

UP Hill Wool gives growing toes space in width and height. The Grey/Black combination upper is made from leather and textile, balancing durability in key areas with a lighter feel around the foot.

Sheep wool supplies the insulation and a waterproof TEX membrane helps in slushy or wet conditions. The twin-strap closure opens broadly for dressing and makes it easier to set the hold over a higher instep.

Worth knowing: The sole has a useful winter tread but stays very flexible. On polished ice, children still need to slow down because no footwear can guarantee slip-free walking.

Fit & sizing

A strong option for normally wide to wider feet when conventional winter boots feel shallow over the toes or instep.

• The UP profile provides extra vertical room over the foot.
• The rounded toe box gives all toes room, including the little toe.
• The forefoot accommodates normally wide to wider feet.
• Two straps allow a broad opening and simple adjustment.
• The construction is zero drop, with the heel and forefoot on the same level.
• Very narrow feet with a low instep may have too much volume inside.

Measurements are approximate.

Measure both feet while the child is standing, including length and width, and use the longer and wider foot. Add 0.9–1.2 cm of extra length. Try the boots with ordinary winter socks and check that the wool does not compress the toes.

Materials & care

Upper: water-repellent leather and water-repellent textile in Grey/Black

Lining: warm sheep wool

Insole: flat and insulated with sheep wool, without raised arch support

Outsole: light and highly flexible Lifolit® Barefoot UP with improved traction

Membrane: waterproof and breathable TEX membrane

Fastening: two broad hook-and-loop straps

Construction: zero drop, rounded front and added room above the forefoot

Clean textile with a soft damp cloth and brush or wipe leather according to its finish. Use a silicone-free protector that is safe for mixed materials and TEX membranes, testing it on a hidden section first. Air-dry open boots at room temperature and avoid radiators, tumble dryers and washing machines.
