Groundies Mountain Black is a vegan, waterproof barefoot hiking boot for varied terrain. The synthetic high-cut upper uses supportive side panels around the ankle, while the TrueSense® GH2 trail outsole remains flat and flexible.

Weather and terrain

Mountain is designed for day hikes and longer routes where grip, ankle coverage and weather protection are useful. The boot is not insulated, so pair it with suitable socks and let it dry completely after wet use.

Fit & sizing

Best suited to average-width feet. Measure both feet while standing in the hiking socks you plan to wear and choose according to the longer foot. The table already includes 0.5–1.2 cm of extra room, so compare your foot length directly with the listed internal length.

Materials & care

Upper: Polyester fabric containing recycled material, with PU and PE elements.

Lining: Recycled polyester and knitted textile.

Insole: 100% recycled PET.

Outsole: TrueSense® GH2, 2 mm base with 3 mm tread; flexible, high-grip and zero drop.

Protection: Waterproof high-cut synthetic construction.

Care: Remove dried mud with a soft brush and wipe the upper with a damp cloth. Use a waterproofing product intended for synthetic footwear, then dry naturally away from direct heat.
