A Cognac winter boot with useful space in height
A wide-looking toe box is not enough when the top of a winter boot presses on the toes or instep. Froddo UP Furry adds volume in that direction too, making it a practical choice for fuller children's feet.
The Cognac leather is paired with 100% natural lambskin inside. Two hook-and-loop straps give a broad opening and let a child or parent set the lower and upper hold separately.
Worth knowing: Check that the heel stays reasonably settled when the child walks. On a narrow, low-instep foot, the extra UP volume may be more than the straps can take up.
Fit & sizing
The shape is generous through the forefoot and above the instep, with a rounded front for natural toe placement.
- Best for normally wide to wider feet and a higher instep.
- The rounded toe box gives all toes room, including the little toe.
- Two wide straps open the boot fully and make daily dressing easier.
- The UP last adds space above the toes as well as across the forefoot.
- The construction is zero drop, with the heel and forefoot on the same level.
- Very narrow feet with a low instep may have too much volume inside.

Measure the length and width of both feet in a standing position. Base the size on the longer and wider foot, then add 0.9–1.2 cm of extra length. Account for the lambskin and the child's normal winter sock when checking the fit.

Clean the leather gently with a soft cloth and use protection intended for its finish. Apply a small test first, as care products can alter the Cognac colour. Take out the insole to air the interior and let wet boots dry slowly at room temperature, never against a heater or in a machine.
