Dark Blue winter warmth for a higher instep
Froddo UP Furry gives children more room where winter shoes often become tight: above the toes and across the instep. The rounded shape also avoids squeezing the little toe, which helps the whole forefoot sit naturally.
The Dark Blue leather upper hides everyday marks well, while 100% natural lambskin lines the boot and the footbed. Two separate straps make it quick to open the boot and adjust the hold without laces.
Worth knowing: Natural lambskin is already substantial insulation. An unnecessarily thick sock can reduce toe space and make an otherwise correct size feel small.
Fit & sizing
The UP Furry last favours a medium-to-higher-volume child's foot rather than a slim foot with a low instep.
- Best for normally wide to wider feet and a higher instep.
- The UP last adds space above the toes as well as across the forefoot.
- The rounded toe box gives all toes room, including the little toe.
- The construction is zero drop, with the heel and forefoot on the same level.
- Very narrow feet with a low instep may have too much volume inside.
- Two hook-and-loop straps adjust independently over the instep and ankle.

Measure both feet while the child is standing and use the longer and wider foot. Add 0.9–1.2 cm to foot length for this insulated winter model. Check the toe space, heel hold and instep with the socks intended for daily wear.

Construction: zero drop, rounded toe box and added room over the toes and instep
Wipe smooth leather with a soft damp cloth, allow it to dry and apply a suitable leather conditioner or protector. Test products on a hidden area first. Remove the insole after a damp day and air-dry away from radiators and direct heat. Do not machine wash.
