One black winter boot for school and outdoor time
The Black UP Path TEX Winter balances everyday practicality with a foot-shaped interior. It has enough vertical room for a higher instep, a rounded forefoot and a light sole that bends easily during walking.
Sheep wool provides insulation, while a TEX membrane helps keep out winter moisture. Reflective lacing and details improve visibility in low light, and the reinforced front takes the wear that comes with playgrounds and daily travel.
Worth knowing: A grippier tread improves contact on common winter surfaces, but ice remains slippery. Use the same care and caution you would with any flexible winter sole.
Fit & sizing
The internal shape is generous in width and height and is most secure on medium- to higher-volume feet.
- Normally wide to wider feet have room through the forefoot.
- The UP last adds space above the toes as well as across the forefoot.
- The rounded toe box gives all toes room, including the little toe.
- The combined elastic lacing and strap is easy to tighten.
- The construction is zero drop, with the heel and forefoot on the same level.
- Very narrow feet with a low instep may have too much volume inside.

Measure both feet for length and width while standing, then use the longer and wider result. Add 0.9–1.2 cm of extra length. Because the wool and sock share the internal space, check the toes, instep and heel hold in the complete winter setup.

Brush dry dirt from the leather and clean textile areas with a soft damp cloth. Maintain water repellency with a silicone-free product suitable for both materials and TEX membranes, testing it first. Air-dry opened boots at room temperature and avoid radiators, tumble dryers and washing machines.
