Groundies Mountain Taupe are unisex high-cut hiking boots for short hikes and multi-day treks on challenging, uneven terrain. Their waterproof, 100% vegan construction combines targeted ankle protection with a flexible zero-drop platform, supporting natural movement while adding stability where the trail demands it.

Technical performance without leather

Lightweight textile and synthetic components replace the nubuck used in the related Groundies Grit model. Together with the recycled-polyester lining, they create a practical vegan option for customers who want waterproof trail footwear without leather. The low-profile tread keeps the platform flexible and responsive to changes in the terrain.

Fit & sizing

Mountain uses the Groundies Barefoot Fit with an anatomically shaped toe box. It is best suited to wide feet and regular to high insteps. Its high-cut construction provides lateral support and targeted protection around the ankle.

Measure the length and width of both feet while wearing the socks you plan to use for hiking, then choose according to the longer and wider foot. Allow approximately 0.5–1.2 cm of extra room for movement and socks.

After a hike, brush away loose dirt. If needed, clean the boots with lukewarm water and allow them to dry completely at room temperature. Once dry, renew the waterproofing with a product suitable for combined synthetic materials.
