A simple Cognac boot for small feet in motion
Furry Walkers give young children a warm layer without the weight and rigidity often found in winter footwear. The Cognac leather stays pliable, and the lambskin lining cushions the foot from the first step to a short outdoor walk.
The outsole is deliberately thin and easy to bend. It protects the foot from the surface while preserving more feedback from the ground, which is useful when balance and walking confidence are still developing.
Worth knowing: The soft heel does not guide or brace the ankle. Check that this construction matches the child's walking stage and that the strap holds the shoe securely.
Fit & sizing
This model is shaped for normally wide little feet rather than narrow, low-volume feet.
- Suited to normally wide children's feet.
- The toe box follows the natural line of the toes and leaves room for them to spread.
- The heel is soft and has no rigid heel counter.
- One wide hook-and-loop strap opens the shoe well and makes the hold easy to adjust.
- The flat, zero-drop sole keeps the heel and forefoot on the same level.

Measure the length and width of both feet while the child is standing, then use the longer and wider foot as your reference. Allow 0.7–1.0 cm of extra length. The lambskin takes up some room, so check the fit with the socks the child will actually wear.

Wipe or brush away surface dirt before applying a protector made for the leather finish. Try new products on a hidden area first, especially if you want to preserve the Cognac shade. Air-dry at room temperature and keep the shoes away from radiators, hot air and washing machines.
